Payment & Insurance

Natura Health and Wellness Clinic is a cash pay practice. You will be expected to pay for all appointments, treatments, and purchasing of items at the medicinary on the same day the charges occurred. We do not accept any insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. We do however provide itemized statements that you can self-submit to your insurance for reimbursement. This reimbursement is dependent on your benefits and health insurance as a whole. For questions, please contact your insurance policy customer support.

Payment is due at time of visit. If you need to make payment arrangements, it MUST be done before your visit. Please contact the clinic to schedule a time to speak with the practice manager about payment arrangements at (406)317-1965.

We accept Cash, Check, and Major Credit Cards - EXCEPT American Express. We DO accept HSA/FSA cards.

Frequently asked questions

Does Natura accept insurance?

No. To help save on billing costs, and to ensure we are able to provide the highest quality care possible, we do not bill insurance directly. We can offer you receipts or superbills that you can submit to your insurance company. Natura Doctors are not credentialed and part of any insurance networks. We do accept HSA/FSA.

Do insurance companies pay for naturopathic medicine?

In Montana, many health insurance companies cover naturopathic medical services. However, the extent to which naturopathic medicine is covered varies depending on the insurance company and insurance plan. Please refer to your insurance plan documents or contact your insurance company if you have any questions about what is covered under your individual insurance plan.

What is included in the cost of patient visits?

The cost of the patient visit includes only the time with your doctor. Any supplements, labs and in-clinic blood draws are an additional cost. The visit cost depends on the time and also the complexity of your visit. Upon scheduling appointments for you, the front desk can only provide an estimate of appointment costs. Please note that the final cost can potentially change depending on time and doctor-deemed complexity.

Are there No-Show or Late Cancellation fees?

Yes. You will be charged $50 if you cancel an appointment within 24 hours of your established appointment or if you do not show up to your appointment without any notice.

Why does Natura not accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance directly for several important reasons:

  1. Provide the highest quality care possible. We believe that we are able to practice better medicine when we are not directly accountable to insurance companies.
