Medicinary

At Natura, we stock a large in-house Medicinary, our in-house herbal and supplement “pharmacy." It is filled with a wide array of natural therapies that our doctors prescribe. This includes vitamins and minerals, herbal and nutritional supplements, homeopathic medicines, herbal tinctures, and more.

We offer our medicinary products as a service to our patients, allowing for one-stop access to naturopathic treatments.

Our collection of supplements is curated to include high-quality products from reputable and responsible companies. Our naturopathic doctors are continually refining the products that we stock in office to ensure that the products we sell meet our high standards. We do not only stock one brand, but select many based on their individual strengths. Some of these brands include:

For supplements that we do not carry in-house, we special order from several companies including Fullscript. Fullscript is a quality online retailer of supplements that can ship directly to your home. Natura's electronic health record system is connected with Fullscript to help provide a seamless experience.

We use Fullscript instead of sending patients to Amazon or other ordering platforms because Fullscript ensures product quality. Fullscript ordering does NOT apply to in-house compounded tinctures and certain special-order items. For those items, you will need to contact the Medicinary.

How Natura Uses Fullscript

If your doctor includes a supplement in your plan that we do not carry in our Medicinary, your doctor will send you to our online prescription supplement portal, Fullscript. Once a doctor prescribes supplements to a patient via Fullscript, the patient is in charge of placing the order themselves. Patients will see an email directly from Fullscript alerting them of a new prescribed supplement their doctor wants them to take. Fullscript will then send the patient the supplements to their home, or which ever address they indicate.

Frequently asked questions

I'm not a patient of Natura. Can I purchase supplements from your medicinary?

Due to liability, our supplements are only available to current patients with a doctor's "prescription" or order.

How do I request a refill of my supplements?

You can request a refill of your supplements one of several ways:

  1. Submit a request in the Patient Portal.

  2. Send a portal message to your provider in the Patient Portal.

  3. Call the clinic and ask to speak with our Medicinary staff.

  4. Stop by our clinic.

We ask that you give 24 hours notice before you need to pick up your supplements. This will allow our Medicinary staff to gather and prepare your supplements. This is particularly true with custom tincture preparation.

What if I don't need a whole bottle of a particular supplement?

The Medicinary can dispense small amounts of each supplement to ensure that no adverse reactions happen, or if a patient only needs it for a short time.

I don't live close to Missoula. Can you ship supplements?

Yes! We can ship any of our supplements to you via USPS to in Montana and the US. Please place your order about a week before you need it. We will charge an additional standard shipping charge to send via USPS, unless an extra-large or heavy package or overnight delivery is requested, in which case the charge will vary.
